Garlic lovers of the world unite. This sauce is the pure definition of comfort food. This is so simple and yet so rich and velvety.
This makes 2 servings (great for leftovers)
You will need:
4 oz. cream cheese
1 cup of milk
7 cloves of garlic
3 TBSP of butter
1/3 cup parmesean cheese
In a pan over medium low heat,place in the butter and garlic cloves. Saute until golden brown.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the butter cool (you don’t want to fry your cream cheese).
Toss in the cream cheese and 1/2 cup of the milk and whisk until smooth. Let it simmer some more and it will thicken drastically.
Remove the garlic cloves. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of milk and 1/3 cup parmesean cheese. Whisk until thick, smooth and bubbly.
Top over pasta.
